Gabe's dad turns 60

We celebrated Gabe's dad's birthday at a Brazilian restaurant in downtown Seattle. It was our first time there, so we really didn't know what to expect. It was cool....you sat at your table and they came around with different meats for you to eat. They had a total of sixteen different kinds. After, we walked around Pike Place Market to look at all the Christmas lights.

Christmas Day

Gabe, Scooter, and I spent Christmas morning at my moms. Santa was very good to us. :) That afternoon, the Johnstones came over to have Christmas dinner. Gabe's dad also joined us. There were about 16 of us. I wish I had taken a picture of the table with all of us around it. I love the holidays....spending time with family and eating yummy food!

Friday night, we hit the bowling ally in Kirkland for a night of fun! There were some pretty impressive bowlers in our family.

Another wonderful Thanksgiving with our family. We spent it at my anut Anita's house. There were 18 of us, plus two dogs. :)

Karri bought Gabe tickets for his birthday to the Major League Soccer Cup game here at Qwest field. To bad our Sounders weren't in it, but we did get to see David Beckham play.

Gabe turns 30!

We got a few friends together to watch the Huskies football game. Unfortunately, we watched them lose another close ball game. At least they are doing better than last season!.

Happy Halloween

It's a few days early, but we wanted to wish everyone a safe and Happy Halloween.

Yes, I carved this pumpkin all by myself. In all these years of pumpkin carving, I didn't know there were stencils. I just thought people were really good at carving. Haha :)

The Big 30!!!

Well, it finally happend, I turned 30 over the weekend.

The 30 beautiful roses Gabe sent me to school.

We celebrated my birthday along with Erica's at Benihanas. We are just 5 days apart.

Suprise 60th Birthday party for Mom

I'm not sure how we did it, but we managed to pull off the suprise birthday party for my mom last night. A huge thank you to all the friends and family that helped. We could not have pulled this one off without you guys. Happy birthday mom!

Dog Contest Results.....

Lake Coeur d'Alene Cabin

We returned a few days ago from spending an amazing week at the lake cabin. We missed the record breaking heat in Seattle, so the timing spent at the cabin could not have been any better. We did have one minor mishap during our stay.... I got a little to excited when Gabe caught a catfish in the boat house. that as I stood up to help, Gabe's camera that I had on my lap fell into the lake. :( Gabe reluctantly was able to drive in and retrieve the camera. We were very fortunate and pleased to have saved all the pictures from the trip, however the camera was toast.

We took Gabe's family to our local bowling alley. Gabe's dad beat us all in the first game, but than Gabe took him down in the second game. Gabe says he was just warming up during the first game!

We went down to the Mill Creek Town Center to check out their festival. This annual festival has become a pretty big deal in Mill Creek.

We attended my second cousin's wedding yesterday. The ceremony was held at a small cute church in the U district followed by great reception at the Burke Museum.

Two years married!

We just returned home from spending a few nights visiting the North Peninsula area of Washington. We spent the first night in Port Angeles and the second night at Sol Duc Hot Springs.

Gabe's sister Theresa, her husband, and their 1 year old son Aiden flew in from New York for a visit. Theresa and Aiden will be in town for a month so expect a lot more pictures!

We decided using Scooter's crate was a great way to keep him safe while we went bar hopping in Seattle.......Just kidding.
